Zynga CEO Mark Pincus along with other executives have reportedly sold a portion of their shares in a "secondary stock offering" in April bringing in around $516 million at $12 a share. The April-to-June period is the same quarter that saw Zynga shares drop from $5 to $3.

In other words, Pincus and other Zynga officials sold at the right time. Pincus got out with the most by bringing in $200 million from the sale, with several others reportedly getting eight-figures.

Kodykoala originally intended to sell his masterpiece at iam8bit, but no one picked it up. Now, he's giving it away for free to one lucky person. All you have to do to be in the running for this stellar work of art is submit a comment on his blog pitching a neat idea for another figurine.

Nakashima Mika to appear in “Resident Evil” movie once again

It’s been reported that singer Nakashima Mika will be appearing in the upcoming Hollywood film, “Resident Evil: Retribution“.

Nakashima will play the role of the undead (zombie), and will have a showdown with actress Milla Jovovich.

Shooting for the film recently took place in Toronto, Canada, where Nakashima challenged herself to a battle scene with Jovovich. Seeing her convincing performance, both Jovovich and director Paul W.S. Anderson praised Nakashima saying, “I want to work with Mika again.”

Meanwhile, Nakashima expressed, “It was a very valuable experience. A lot of things were new to me, so I had fun.”

“Resident Evil: Retribution” is the 5th installment of the “Resident Evil” film series, and will open in theaters on September 14th. Nakashima also played the role of a zombie in the previous film, “Resident Evil: Afterlife“.

Masquerading as popular games, a number of malevolent apps were discovered to be published under the name “Stevens Creek Software” and once they’re installed, they urge the user to complete the installation process by clicking on a button.

Once clicked, the button, after multiple redirects, leads the victim to a shady website that advertises “make easy money” schemes.

Symantec identifies these fraudulent apps as Android.Steek and Google has been notified of their presence in the Market, but if you want to make sure that you don’t install any malicious apps on your phone, you can check to see if the publisher of the paid version is the same as the publisher of the free variant.]]>

Not surprisingly, Apple is allegedly putting a stop to the latest Steve Jobs action figure. According to the Telegraph, Apple sent a cease-and-desist letter to Chinese company In Icons, threatening legal action if it does not stop selling the toy.

Apple says it owns rights to Jobs's likeness, and its letter reportedly states that it's a criminal offense for any toy to feature Apple's trademarks, logo, or products, as well as the appearance or name of its late co-founder.

Apple did not respond to requests for comment on the matter.

About a year ago, Apple shut down another Steve Jobs action figure made by Chinese company M.I.C. Gadget. The detailed, $79 figurine featured Jobs in his signature jeans, black turtleneck, and sneakers holding an iPhone 4. Buyers also received "speech bubbles," where they could write in signature Jobs-esque phrases.

Apple told M.I.C. Gadget that the action figure was a violation of its copyrights and trademarks, and it seems In Icons is guilty of the same transgression.

In Icon's 12-inch moveable doll bears such a striking resemblance to Jobs that it's a little creepy. At 12 inches tall, it's clad in the typical Jobs uniform of jeans, a black turtleneck, black leather belt, a pair of wire frame glasses, black socks, and sneakers.

Mini Steve also comes with some accessories including a chair, two apples (one with a bite out of it), and a "one more thing" backdrop.

Set to ship in February, In Icons' Steve Jobs action figure is priced at $99, but the company has stopped taking pre-orders. The toy is already selling on eBay for $225.
